Service in the community, both in Jacksonville and abroad is one of the foundations of our Youth Program. Throughout the year, we try our best to be involved in at least one service project every month. These have ranged from volunteering with Feeding Northeast Florida and Church Without Walls, to making Thanksgiving Baskets and giving them to families in our community that need them. If you have any suggestions for anything we could get involved in, feel free to contact Brooks Slater in the Church Office.
Every summer, our Youth participate in summer mission projects and trips. In the past, we have travelled to New Orleans to help with Hurricane relief, and down to Cuba to spend time with our sister parish and help them put on a VBS program. If we aren’t travelling somewhere out of state, we spend a week doing mission work in our community.
