The Brotherhood of St. Andrew provides male camaraderie in a spiritual environment. It is a missionary and evangelism ministry of the Episcopal Church and Anglican Communion (Our chapter is made up of six separate denominations. In fact, it is the oldest evangelistic ministry of the Episcopal Church. Our goal is to bring men and boys to Jesus Christ. Our Brotherhood chapter at St. Paul’s by-the-Sea is the second largest chapter in the country with over seventy members.
We meet the first and third Saturday of every month at 8:00am in Stormes Hall, all meetings are done by 9:00am At meetings, we have light refreshments, a brief business meeting and Bible study. Brotherhood members are active in every ministry of our church and sponsor monthly breakfasts, annual specialty dinners, work-days on church property and at Camp Weed and numerous other activities for the entire parish. Funds raised at our various functions are used to sponsor: youth mission trips, Anglican Frontier Missions, Camp Weed scholarships, an orphan in Uganda, our pipe organ refurbishment and many other worthwhile causes.
