Cold Night Shelter

SPBTS participates with five other area churches in an outreach program to shelter and feed the homeless on cold nights. The need for a cold night shelter is determined by the Mission House when evening temperatures are 35 degrees or 45 degrees if there is rain.  Once the determination is made, a church is selected on a rotating basis, depending on availability. SPBTS breaks up the night into four shifts starting at 6pm and ending at 7am the next morning.  Cold Night Shelter is only possible through the efforts of volunteers. The homeless are fed chili and cookies, generously provided by members of SPBTS when called upon.  Let there be no doubt, your efforts are needed and appreciated by those we serve.
