SPBTS families purchase Christmas gifts for 15-18 families in need. The names are provided by Episcopal Children Services.
Beaches Emergency Assistance Ministry (BEAM)
St. Paul’s by-the-Sea supports BEAM through cash donations and food drives. We also participate each year with the Back to School with BEAM shoe and clothing drive.
Meals on Wheels
Every six weeks volunteers from St. Paul’s by-the-Sea take a week of delivering noontime meals to homebound individuals. Volunteers work only one day every six weeks.
Mission House Clinic
The Mission House provides medical assistance to those unable to pay for prescriptions and doctor visits. Every Saturday, from 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., and Tuesdays, from 4:30-7:00 p.m., registered nurses and doctors see patients as part of the “We Care” system.
Soup Kitchen at Mission House
Volunteers prepare and serve supper to the homeless on the fourth Wednesday of each month.
St. Paul’s by-the-Sea, one of the founding churches of Beaches Habitat in 1986, has continued to be a strong supporter of this exciting outreach ministry. To learn more Beaches Habitat, visit its website.
Also under Outreach are United Thank Offering, Episcopal Relief & Development, Blanket Sunday, and World Missions.
