The Brotherhood of St. Andrew will host the Annual Shrimp dinner on Saturday, February 25th in the Parish Hall from 5:30 to 8:30pm. For those with allergies, an alternative will be available. The Sassy Tappers will provide the entertainment. This is an adult night out event: child care will be available. Prepaid reservations are required and cost $15 per person. Proceeds from this event go toward the Brotherhood’s outreach efforts, international, national, and local. Save the date. You won’t want to miss this! Eat, drink, and be happy, for Lent begins the next Wednesday !

For those interested in the Wednesday evening study of the 12 Steps to Spiritual Wholeness: Breathing Under Water by Richard Rohr, read up and prepare to discuss step 4 when we resume our study on January 11th at 6pm in the Parish Hall. This will be a study only. No dinners will be served until the season of Lent begins.

How much do you know about our prayer book? Rev. Louanne begins a 3-week series: A Gallop Through the Book of Common Prayer beginning January 8 at 9am in the Common Room in Stormes Hall for the next Conversations That Matter series. This is a great opportunity for newcomers and anyone interested in confirmation or reception. Bishop Howard will be with us for confirmations/receptions on Palm Sunday, April 9th.

During the season of Advent, in addition to our two Holy Eucharist services and Bible study, we will add a free Yoga class at 11:30am and, in the evening, dinner and a book discussion on Richard Rohr’s Breathing Underwater. Advent Wreaths! Bring your kids by the Christopher Conference Room on November 20th after the 10am service. SPY members will help your children make an Advent Wreath for your home!

Come one! Come all! Incredible Edibles is November 19, 8am-2pm. There will be homemade holiday foods; frozen soups and casseroles, cakes, cookies, pies, jams, jellies, bread and much much more. There will be thousands of collectibles of all kinds, crafts and decorations and themed gift baskets! Visit the French Café serving coffee and beignets in the morning or pick up a light lunch to eat in or take out. For those contributing to Incredible Edibles: on Friday, November 18th from 7:30am until 3pm, committee members will be on hand to receive your donations. Please wrap and label all foods securely. Team members will help you with the pricing.
